Nike Air Jordan Sneakers,Along with a photo, rumors regarding the possibility that Jordan Brand is potentially working on a “What The” version of the Air Jordan 1 began circulating at the beginning of this month. Around the same time, another new photo had also popped up that suggested that perhaps the Air Jordan 3 is also going to be receiving the “What The” treatment this year. Oddly enough, it seems that one of the model’s colorways from the past that this “What The” iteration apparently borrows from is the Air Jordan 3 “True Blue,” which itself is returning this year. The Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” that debuted in 1988 is often regarded as Jordan Brand’s first lifestyle Air Jordan sneaker because of the way it blended lifestyle and performance. Originally, it had featured predominantly white uppers, while the heel counters and toe boxes were covered in elephant print accents and “Nike Air” branding was present on the tongue. It was kind of a letdown for Jordanheads when the “Nike Air” logo stopped appearing on future versions of this Air Jordan 3 iteration.

Nike Air Jordan Shoes,It was back in 2001, fifteen years later after the colorway was first introduced, when the Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” had received the retro treatment. Even Kobe Bryant had rocked the sneaker on the court during the 2003 NBA All-Star Game as a tribute to Michael Jordan since it was the final All-Star Game the G.O.A.T. participated in. In 2009, Jordan Brand modified the sneaker even more in order to drop it as an EU exclusive, and in 2011, apparently the same edition also hit the shelves in the United States.the Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” has 28 years of legacy behind it, a legacy that continues to expand. In fact, 2016 adds another page to that legacy by making it the first time the Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” arrives at retailers, whilst staying absolutely true to its OG form. Of course, sneakerheads will have to wait till Black Friday to get their hands on a pair, which will not be until near the end of this year, i.e. November 25th.
