A wet and wild days racing on Sunday has no Supercars driver keen to predict the outcome of the Sandown 500. Air Jordan 3 Cheap China .Jamie Whincups car No.88 will start on pole after the six-time series champion had combined with co-driver Paul Dumbrell to beat home the field in qualifying. The duos third-straight pole position at the Melbourne circuit might have been a predictable result but Whincup said the forecast big wet meant Sunday wouldnt be straightforward. Its going to be all over the place, he said. Its going to be a matter of having the right tyres on at the right time, having the right set-up for the conditions.Everyones going to take a guess on what part of the race its going to be. Whoever takes the best guess will be in the best spot. The weather bureau is predicting up to 10mm of rain in Melbourne on race day, with most to fall before the start time of 1:15pm.That has Dumbrell and Garth Tander, who will join the Red Bull driver on the front row, at odds over the best place to be.With Tanders Holden Racing Team car No.2 to start on the outside of the track, he said it could allow him or co-driver Warren Luff to scoot into the lead by turn one.Id rather start on the outside of the front row. If its changeable weather, the outside line will be dry from previous races running across. The inside will probably be wet, he said.Dumbrell suggested an advantage might not materialise. The tracks quite abrasive ... it might be a little bit dirty on the inside but, with wet weather coming, its probably going to neutralise the whole track, he said.Rule changes add to the intrigue. Now that theyve taken out the four-stop minimum mandatory component of the strategy, I think youll see some variation of the teams over three or four stops, he said.Throw the weather in as well and itll be a very interesting day tomorrow.Scott McLaughlin, whose Volvo will start from third place, says there is just one factor that has him well poised for the endurance race.Im a Kiwi - I love the wet, he said. The Clippers were angry about blowing a big lead; the Kings didnt like being in that kind of hole and nearly digging themselves out only to lose. English Premier League leaders Chelsea took the spoils at the Stadium of Light on Wednesday night in an eventful game that saw the only goal scored by Cesc Fabregas. As expected, the home side set out their stall on the defensive for most of the encounter hoping to contain the powerful Chelsea forward line and grab something on the break. With Chelsea increasingly dominant, the crucial breakthrough came on 40 minutes. A neat one-two around the area between Fabregas and Willian saw the former advance and curl his shot beyond Jordan Pickford. The second half began with the visitors still probing and looking the more llikely to add to their lead. Air Jordan 3 For Sale Cheap. David Moyes made a couple of changes around the hour mark which gave Sunderland only minimal extra impetus.Toward the 90-minute mark, it was Pickford still the busier of the two goalkeepers, but in the dying seconds Thibault Courtois crucially pulled off the save of the game by beating out a Patrick Van Aanholt effort which seemed destined for the top corner.Chelsea remained at the top of the pile, and Sunderland are still adrift at the bottom. TROON, Scotland -- The Latest on the British Open (all times local):---7 p. Air Max Tavas Mens .m.Phil Mickelson is heartbroken, even after one of the greatest rounds in major championship history.Lefty shot an 8-under 63 in the opening round of the British Open on Thursday, but hell long remember the lipped-out putt at the 18th hole that cost him a chance at history.Mickelson couldve become the first player to shoot 62 at a major championship. Instead, he joins 25 other players whove managed a 63.Mickelson puts it this way: All those highlights and I feel like crying. Indeed, his 16-foot putt looked like it was right in the cup with a foot to do, only to veer off to the right, catch the edge of the cup, and stay out.The 46-year-old American knows these sorts of chances dont come along very often. At his age, especially, the odds are against Mickelson ever coming that close again. Thats why he describes it as heartbreaking.---6:45 p.m.Chris Wood of England has withdrawn from the British Open because of a recurrence of a neck injury.Wood withdrew after the 12th hole of his first round. He was 3 over par.---6:20 p.m.Phil Mickelson has become the 26th player in major championship history to shoot a 63.And he had reason to be disappointed. His 16-foot birdie putt on the final hole at Royal Troon caught the right lip and rode the edge of the cup without dropping. Mickelson stooped over and grabbed his knees in disbelief. It was the 28th round of 63 in the majors -- Greg Norman and Vijay Singh have done it twice -- and the ninth at the British Open. As a small consolation, Mickelson has the course record at Royal Troon. And he likely will have the lead.---5 p.m.Americans occupy seven of the top eight spots on the leaderboard at Royal Troon, not surprising because they have won the British Open the last six times on this links. One name stands out, however.Phil Mickelson joined Patrick Reed at 5-under par with a long birdie putt on the 10th hole, and he remains bogey-free through 12 holes. Mickelson hasnt won since he captured the claret jug at Muirfield three years ago. Some of the other Americans: Billy Horschel and Tony Finau both finished at 67 and were one shot behind, along with Justin Thomas and Steve Stricker. And not to be overlooked is Zach Johnson, the defending champion, who was 4 under through 10 holes.---3:30 p.m.Steve Stricker was nervous when he teed off at Royal Troon, and it showed. He had to scramble for par on the first hole and took bogey on the next hole. But the 49-year-old American settled down and shot 67, one shot off the lead.So why the nerves? Stricker said maybe it was because its been a while since he played in a major. This is his first major since the PGA Championship last year, and his first British Open since 2012.And it might be his last major. He currently is not eligible for the PGA Championship. Stricker says his agent, brother-in-law Mario Tiziani, has been asking him if Stricker wants to request an exemption. Stricker says he wont do it. He wants to earn it.This is the final event to qualify, and a top 10 might be enough to get in.---2:30 p.m.Three-quarters of golfs Big Four are back in the clubhouse on the first day at Royal Troon -- and Rory McIlroy has fared better than Jordan Spieth and Jason Day.McIlroy, who won the British Open in 2014 and missed the defense of the claret jug last year because of injury, shot a 2-under 69 and was three strokes off early leader Patrick Reed.Spieth bogeyed the last hole after an errant tee shot and had an even-par 71, while top-ranked Day shot 73.The other member of the Big Four is U.S. Open champion Dustin Johnson, who had an afternoon start. He bogeyed the first hole after hitting his driver a long way right.---1 p.m.Americans are impressing once again at a British Open at Royal Troon. The last six Open champions at Troon have come from the United States, and Patrick Reed and Justin Thomas are extending the countrys dominance after shooting the best two early rounds Thursday.Reed eagled the par-4 third, had three birdies in the following four holes, and picked up another shot at the last for a 5-under 66 and the early clubhouse lead.Thomas birdied his first four holes and recovered from a double-bogey 6 at No. 15 by also making a birdie at No. 18 for a 67.Another American, Bubba Watson, was alongside Reed and Thomas atop the leaderboard until he triple-bogeyed No. 8 -- the testing par-3 nicknamed the Postage Stamp -- and then made bogey at Nos. 10 and 11. He is level par through 13 holes.Rory McIlroy is 4 under through 12 holes on his first round at the British Open since lifting the claret jug in 2014. He missed last years tournament because of injury.---12:30 p.m.Louis Oosthuizen has made the first hole-in-one at the British Open. The 2010 champion from South Africa aced the par-3 No. 14 from 167 yards, his ball pitching in front of the hole and curling into the cup. He threw his arms up in celebration for what was his second hole-in-one at a major this year, after acing the 16th in the final round of the Masters.---11:45 a.m.With his ball buried and up against the face of a pot bunker, Colin Montgomerie feared the worst after just two shots of his first round at the British Open.Montgomerie was given the honor of hitting the first tee shot at Royal Troon, his home club, in what likely will be his last Open. It was a proud moment for the 53-year-old Scotsman but things quickly turned sour. His second shot landed in him in such trouble that it took two shots to get out of the bunker. An up-and-down later, Monty was walking off with a double-bogey 6 from one of the easiest holes at Troon. No wonder Montgomerie was happy to finish with an even-par 71. He says Im very proud of myself for hanging on in there. It would have been easy to score 78 there, simple.Montgomerie was 3 under for the front nine and 3 over for the back nine.---10:45 a.m.Colin Montgomerie has started what could be his final British Open with an even-par 71 at Royal Troon. The 53-year-old Scotsman was given the honor of hitting the opening tee shot at his home club Thursday, and he was greeted with a packed grandstand on a sunny morning.Montgomerie took a double-bogey at the first hole, but birdied five of the next eight to make the turn with a 3-under 33. He couldnt keep it going, settling for three bogeys on the tougher inward nine to fall off the leaderboard.Bubba Watson, Justin Thomas and Patrick Reed are tied for the lead at 4 under.---10:15 a.m.Its a morning for going low at Royal Troon. Justin Thomas and Patrick Reed are leading the way.The Americans took advantage of the sunny weather Thursday to shoot 5-under 31 on the front nine at the British Open. That puts them a couple of strokes ahead of Kevin Chappell and Jimmy Walker.Given the conditions, its not surprising there are so many red numbers on the board. But the scores figure to rise during the day as the wind picks up. Also, the front nine at Troon is much easier that than the return leg, so its imperative to put up a low score early in the round.Colin Montgomerie found that out. Given the honor of hitting the first stroke of the tournament at his home club, he made the turn with a 3-under 33 even after opening with a double-bogey. Alas, Monty couldnt keep it going. Hes back to even par with two holes to play after three bogeys.---8:30 a.m.Colin Montgomerie has recovered brilliantly from his double bogey to start the British Open. The 53-year-old Scot, playing in perhaps his last Open, caught a buried lie in pot bunker and began with a double bogey. But the scowl soon turned into a smile when Montgomerie ran off five birdies in seven holes to make the turn at 3-under par.Justin Thomas made his British Open debut with birdies on his opening three holes and also was at 3 under.Luke Donald, playing alongside Montgomerie in the first group, was at 2 under. Most encouraging of all: The lead threesome took just under two hours to complete the front nine.---7:25 a.m.The Irish Sea was blue from abundant sunshine. The British Open leaderboard already was filled with red scores. With virtually no wind to start the 145th Open, the gentle outward nine at Royal Troon was living up to its reputation as the time to get birdies. There already were eight birdies in the first 21 holes completed, with Sanghee Lee of South Korea making birdie on the opening two holes.Colin Montgomerie started with a buried lie in a pot bunker on No. 1 and made double bogey. He might want to heed his own advice. Speaking of how easy the front nine is at Royal Troon, the Scot once famously said if a player is not under par at the turn, he might as well keep walking to Prestwick and have lunch in the clubhouse.Prestwick, site of the first 12 British Opens, is adjacent to Royal Troon.---6:45 a.m.The British Open began Thursday with Colin Montgomerie hitting the opening tee shot on the Royal Troon links where his father once was club secretary.Montgomerie, widely considered the best player to have never won a major, qualified at age 53 for what likely will be his last Open. The R&A chose him to be the first player to hit a shot on a gorgeous morning along the Irish Sea.There wasnt an empty seat in the grandstand next to the first tee, where the silver claret jug was on a podium. Five dogs were on the beach. There was no wind, allowing the early starters to take aim at one of the shorter courses on the Open rotation. Montgomerie teed off with Marc Leishman and Luke Donald. For the Wild it was their first win of the season and they now have a record of 1-1-2 while the Jets fall to 2-2. Jets start a six game home stand Friday with another divisional game, home to the Dallas Stars. http://www.bestairmaxtavas.com/ . Hey!" The lower tier of the School End of Queens Park Rangers Loftus Road was packed solid with a very festive-sounding Chelsea choral section in this particular part of South Africa Road London, W12. The Colorado Avalanche were rather quiet on the player front this offseason, but made major headlines with a late coaching change.Patrick Roys unexpected resignation in August forced the Avs into the kind of coaching search no team should ever desire -- the one that comes after most of the top names had been hired. But GM Joe Sakic took a gamble he believes will pay off in elevating unheralded Jared Bednar from the minors, where he led his teams to championships both in the AHL and ECHL.The most constant and stinging criticism of Roys coaching style was that the Avs bucked the trend of puck-possession systems that have garnered much success around the league, instead playing a counterattack game that was exciting at times, but also in the long run led to too much time without the puck. Bednar promises to address that this season and change the way the Avs play with the puck.Colorado was in the playoff race last season until fading late, losing eight of its last 10 games, missing the postseason for the second straight year after the surprising Central Division title win in 2013-14, Roys first season behind the bench. The Avs return with largely the same core of players. Theyve got high-end offensive talent led by Matt Duchene and Nathan MacKinnon, but have struggled mightily defensively. Theyve got to be better there.Best new facesThe Avs acquired defensemen Fedor Tyutin and Patrick Wiercioch to help bolster the blue line, also adding forwards Joe Colborne, Rocco Grimaldi and Ben Smith. Gabriel Bourque and Rene Bourque were signed to tryout contracts. The 6-foot-5, 202-pound Wiercioch gets a second lease on life in Colorado after wearing out the patience of the Ottawa Senators. He had promising moments during his first few years but frustrated the Sens with his lack of consistency. Does a fresh start in Colorado help the 26-year-old meet his potential?Colborne, also 26, put up career highs of 19 goals and 44 points last season. The 6-foot-5 center, however, was let go by the Calgary Flames, who had to preserve salary-cap space. Perhaps a sneaky signing here by the Avs.All in all, though, nothing earth-shattering as far as player additions. As far as a newcomer to the NHL lineup, however, exciting things are ahead from forward Mikko Rantanen, the 10th overall pick in the 2015 draft. He has the potential to get into the Calder Trophy conversation. The most important new face, though, is behind the bench in Bednar, who makes his NHL debut after cutting his teeth for years in the minors.Biggest uunknownsHow will Bednar fare? He wants to play a puck-pressure game and obviously tighten up defensively, all the things you want to hear if youre an Avs fan. Air Max Tavas. But how will the players respond to a largely unknown coach? Is Nikita Zadorov ready to make a step this season? That would be a boon to the blue-line if the 6-foot-5 Russian turned in an impact season. Hes got the talent to be a two-way guy, but needs to show more consistency.Which Semyon Varlamov shows up this season? The Russian goalie has regressed two straight years since putting up a career-best .927 save percentage in 2013-14 in helping lead the Avs to that Central title. He brilliantly masked a lot of Colorados defensive issues that season. But since then, that save percentage has dipped to .921 in 2014-15 and then just .914 last season (to go along with a 2.81 goals-against average). Now, Varlamov could certainly use better defensive play in front of him, no question. But its the chicken and the egg here. If hes better this season, everything else flows from there. His backup, Calvin Pickard, has potential to be a No. 1. So the Avs look pretty darn solid in goal if Varlamov bounces back.Sure thingsDuchene, MacKinnon and defenseman Tyson Barrie are the offensive dynamos, while captain Gabriel Landeskogs consistent two-way game forms the core of Colorados go-to arsenal. Landeskog and Swedish countryman Carl Soderberg formed a steady pairing up front last season.MacKinnon was outstanding in the World Cup of Hockey for Team North America, while Duchene shined in a Team Canada win over Team USA. Look for both offensive stars to carry that over into strong starts. It should be noted that Duchene played through a separated shoulder, which he suffered before the tournament officially started but he didnt miss a game and the worse of it is behind him, he said.PredictionI think the Avs will do a better job of protecting the puck with Bednar, but some of the same concerns remain on defense. How Varlamov bounces back will have a huge bearing on things. Theyre in a crazy division, where a team such as the Winnipeg Jets is going to be better while contenders the Dallas Stars, Chicago Blackhawks, St. Louis Blues and improved Nashville Predators arent going away. I just cant see Colorado being any better than those teams. They will be competitive but miss out by a few points. Seventh in the Central. DENVER -- At long last, Brian Shaw is getting his first chance to coach an NBA team. Cheap Nike Sneakers From China . The former guard for the Los Angeles Lakers and Phil Jackson pupil has agreed to succeed George Karl as coach of the Denver Nuggets, a person familiar with the negotiations told The Associated Press. The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity Monday night because the deal hadnt been officially announced. Still, it was the buzz of the basketball world. "I think the Nuggets are going to benefit from his tenure," Jackson tweeted. "So great to see Brian Shaw rewarded with this long overdue opportunity," Pacers coach Frank Vogel told The AP in a text. "Congrats to Brian and the Nuggets. Denver just got one of the best head coaches this league will see for years to come." The Denver Post first announced the agreement with Shaw, the Indiana Pacers assistant who told the newspaper hes been "prepared by the best of the best" for his first NBA head coaching job, adding "I feel like Ive waited and paid my dues." Shaw is a longtime assistant who has interviewed about a dozen times for head coaching positions but kept coming up short until Monday. He beat out Lionel Hollins, the former Memphis Grizzlies coach. The Nuggets called a news conference for Tuesday afternoon, where team president Josh Kroenke and newly hired general manager Tim Connelly will introduce their new coach. Shaw replaces Karl, who was ousted June 6 just weeks after winning the leagues Coach of the Year award. Shaw inherits a young team loaded with talent that won a franchise-record 57 games but lost Danilo Gallinari to a knee injury down the stretch and bowed out in the first round of the playoffs for the ninth time in 10 years. Gallinari recently underwent surgery and is expected back in December. The Nuggets have been a state of flux all summer after they were knocked off by the Golden State Warriors in six games in the first round of the playoffs. First, Masai Ujiri, who engineered the win-win trade of Carmelo Anthony to the New York Knicks, left the Nuggets front office for the GM job in Toronto. Ujiri was the leagues Executive of the Year. Less than a week later, Kroenke fired Karl. Ujiris right-hand man, Pete DAllesandro, then took the Sacramento Kings GM job and took Denver executive Mike Bratz with him. Also, the Nuggets top perimeter defender, Andre Iguodala, decided to opt out of the final year of his contract to become an unrestricted free agent, although he could return to Denver on a five-year deal while the most he could get elsewhere is a four-year contract. Shaw, 47, owns five NBA championship rings as a player and assistant coach. A first-round draft pick by the Boston Celtics in 1988, Shaw played for eight teams in his 14 NBA seasons. As Vogels top assistant, Shaw drew praise for his work with rising star Paul George last season. The Pacers forward was an All-Star and helped lead Indiana to the Eastern Conference finals, where they took the eventual champion Miami Heat to seven games. Although he has deep roots with the triangle offence that Jackson featured with the Chicago Bulls and the Lakers, Shaw told the Denver Post he wont use that system with the Nuggets, who thrived in a fast-paced, free-flowing system under Karl. Shaw played at St. Marys and UC Santa Barbara before an NBA career that lasted from 1988 to 2003. He was a member of the Lakers three championship teams in the early 2000s and Jackson hired him as an assistant after he retired. He won two more titles with L.A. as an assistant coach and when Jackson retired from the Lakers in 2011, Kobe Bryant voiced his support for Shaw becoming Jacksons successor, but he was passed over for that promotion. That, along with his 32 points -- which tied a career high -- proved too much for Denver to overcome, and the Pelicans held on for their third straight victory, 111-107 on Sunday night. The NCAA volleyball championship will be decided in Big Ten territory -- in Columbus, Ohio. And it might be like a mini-Big Ten tournament.Of course, well have to see how it all plays out, but the NCAAs top-10 reveal on Wednesday night was -- no surprise -- a strong showing for the conference that has produced eight of the past 10 NCAA champions.Nebraska, Minnesota and Wisconsin were the top three teams in the NCAAs rankings, just as they are in this weeks American Volleyball Coaches Association poll. The Huskers won the national championship last year, and the Gophers also made the final four. The NCAA list diverges just a bit from the AVCA poll after those three. But there is only one team -- seven-time champ Penn State -- that is ranked in the top 10 of the AVCA poll but was not on thhe NCAAs list. Cheap Nike Sneakers For Sale. Here is how the rest of that shaped up: 4. Texas, 5. San Diego, 6. Kansas, 7. Stanford, 8. North Carolina, 9. Florida, 10. Washington. Early rounds (Dec. 1-3) and the regional semis and final (Dec. 10-11) will be played at campus sites. The national semifinals are at 7 and 9:30 p.m. ET on Dec. 15, and the final is at 9 p.m. Dec. 17 at Nationwide Arena. AUSTIN, Texas -- Tom Herman now gets his chance for a Texas takeover. Grey Running Shoes .Herman, who coached Houston to national prominence the last two seasons, was announced as the new Texas coach Saturday, replacing Charlie Strong, who was fired in the morning after three consecutive losing seasons.Longhorn football has been -- and always will be -- a national power, winning and playing for national championships with great pride and passion, supported by an unbelievable fan base, Herman said in statement released by Texas.Contract details were not immediately released, and must still be approved by Texas Board of Regents. Texas still owes Strong nearly $11 million on his original five-year guaranteed contract.Texas acted quickly to snag Herman, who has only two years of experience as a head coach but is 22-4 with the Cougars, with a 9-3 mark this season after Fridays loss to Memphis . Hermans name had emerged as a top target for Texas officials as Strongs final season started 2-0 but faded to a 5-7 finish.Hermans brief stint at Houston galvanized the Cougars program. The coach coined the phrase H-Town Takeover in a bid to energize the local fan base and keep Houston-area recruits at home. The 41-year-old Herman now gets a chance to do the same at one of college footballs blue-blood programs, stocked with money, prestige, its own television network and a feverish fan base.Herman was offensive coordinator at Ohio State when the Buckeyes won the 2014 season national championship. He spent a season at Texas as a graduate assistant early in his career under former Longhorns coach Mack Brown.Hermans record at Houston and big wins over top programs such as Florida State and Oklahoma had pushed the Cougars into early-season College Football Playoff contenders as well as candidates for a move to the Big 12. Neither scenario happened, however, as the Cougars dropped midseason games against Navy and SMU and the Big 12 chose not to expand .Herman was regularly mentioned as a possible candidate at several schools, notably LSU . But most of the attention focused on Texas, where Strong was in his third losing season in a row.Tom was the hottest young head coach in the country the past two seasons, and I am thrilled we are able to get him back to UT to lead Texas football, Texas President Greg Fenves said.Houston Vice President for Athletics Hunter Yurachek said the university was grateful to Herman for his two years. Defensive coordinator Todd Orlando will be Houstons interim head coach for its upcoming bowl game.In his short time in Houston, Tom Herman elevated the Houston Football program to new heights, and we are grateful for his contributions to our program. The entire University of Houston community wishes he and his family continued success in this new chapter in their lives, Yurachek said.Texas is desperate for a return to the nations elite. The Longhorns had a decade-long run of 10-win seasons under Mack Brown from 2000-2009, a span that included two Big 12 championships, one national championship and playing for another. But Texas hasnt won a Big 12 title since 2009 and Strong was just 16-21 overall, ending with a 31-9 loss to TCU on Friday.Herman takes over a program that most see as loaded with talent that just hasnt been able to win. Strongs recruiting classes were ranked among the best in the country the Longhorns two-deep roster is stocked mostly with sophomores and freshmen. One of Hermans first jobs may be sitting down with junior running back DOnta Foreman, who rushed for more than 2,000 yards this season, to gauge whether Foreman plans to turn pro.Herman said he met with Fenves and Texas athletic director Mike Perrin well in the pre-dawn hours Saturday to reach an agreement.I came away very impressed with their unified vision and commitment to football, and Im excited to be the head coach at the flagship university of the greatest state in the union. I am eager to get to Austin as soon as possible, to spend time with our student-athletes and to get to work, Herman said.Strong was the first black head football coach in Texas history and many of his players had pleaded this week for him to be allowed to return. Despite swirling reports that he would be fired, school administrators had pledged no decision would be made until after the final game. Its a very difficult day for me, my family and all of the people affected by this decision, Strong said. I do understand that it comes down to wins and losses, and we have not done our job in that area yet. I accept full responsibility for that, but know in my heart that we accomplished our primary goal, which is the development of young men.---AP College Football Writer Ralph D. Russo contributed to this report.---More AP college football: www.collegefootball.ap.org and https://twitter.com/AP-Top25 . Womens Running Shoes . Australia women 242 (Perry 69, Bolton 63, Luus 4-37, van Niekerk 3-52) tied with South Africa women 242 (van Niekerk 81, Kapp 66)Scorecard and ball-by ball- details A fourth straight ODI fifty for Ellyse Perry, second consecutive for Nicole Bolton, a four-for from Suné Luus, and a match-changing all-round performance from Dane van Niekerk combined to a dramatic tie in the fourth ODI in Coffs Harbour. South Africa women needed eight off the last over and later five off two, when Masabata Klaas slapped a four but was run-out on the last ball as both teams were all out for 242 in only the fifth tie in womens ODIs. South Africa have still not beaten Australia in any format.South Africa were reeling in their chase at the score of 40 for 4, rattled by the Australian quicks and left-arm spinner Jess Jonassen. After Jonassen broke the opening stand, Perry bowled Lara Goodall, Rene Farrell bowled Luus and debutant Amanda-Jade Wellington had Mignon du Preez stumped with her very first ball. Kapp and van Niekerk joined forces that only steadied them but also brought the chase on track with a massive partnership that lasted 30.3 overs. Wellington would have had her second wicket, of van Niekerk, in the 16th over but Meg Lanning could not hold on to a low chance at slip after the ball flicked the keepers glove on the way.Kapp and van Niekerk scored 144 runs together, the third-highest stand for the fifth wicket overall, and took South Africa towards 200. While Kapp was more circumspect in her sixth ODI half-century, van Niekerk scored at more than run a ball against Jonassen, Perry and Farrell. It took a run-out to break the stand when Kapp backed up too much at the non-strikers end and walked back for a 104-ball 66, starting Australias fight back. Black Cheap Running Shoes. South Africa needed 57 off eight overs and Van Niekerks fours during her third ODI fifty brought the asking rate under six before Jonassen bowled her for 81. Another run-out and nine runs later, the visitors needed eight from six but Elyse Villani, bowling for the first time in her international career, conceded seven. When they needed one to win, Klaas struck a full delivery to midwicket but could not reach the non-strikers end on time.Australia had opted to bat and Bolton and Perry, who missed the last match with a groin injury, steered them for over 16 overs after Beth Mooney, who was promoted to open, and Lanning fell cheaply. Bolton and Perrys partnership yielded 80 runs before Luus dismissed Bolton, for 63, and Jonassen in her consecutive overs.Alex Blackwell then allied with Perry with a quick 35 off 30 but van Niekerk disturbed their lower order. Perry helped them cross 200 and took them to the last five overs before Luus sent her back too and van Niekerk struck on consecutive balls with the wickets of Alyssa and Villani. The stutter meant Australia struck only 26 runs in their last five overs as debutants Wellington and Tahlia McGrath were dismissed off consecutive balls in the last over.Luus finished with 4 for 37 from her 7.5 overs and Van Niekerk returned figures of 3 for 52 from nine overs. Watford are preparing to face Liverpool on Nissan Super Sunday, and a trip to Anfield stirs Hornets strikers past and present in Tommy Mooney and Troy Deeney. Cheap Nike Free Shoes . Mooney scored his first Premier League goal at Anfield as newly-promoted Watford sealed a maiden top-flight win of the 1999/2000 campaign, while Deeney heads for Merseyside hunting his 100th goal for the club. Deeney became the first player in Watfords history to hit the 20-goal mark in three successive seasons, but can trace his success to early days at Walsall under Mooneys watchful eye. Ahead of Sundays clash, Sky Sports got the mentor and his protege back together to talk old memories and fresh hopes...   Troy Deeney chatted with former mentor and Watford striker Tommy Mooney Tommy Mooney: Youve got a big game this weekend at Liverpool - a difficult game at any stage in the season. I remember going there in 1999 - we came out of the train station and the taxi drivers were laughing at us. Like lambs to the slaughter! they said. But we won 1-0; first win in the Premier League, my first goal in the Premier League - and at the Kop end. Troy Deeney: Im trying to get my 100th Watford goal there! So this is a big game for you personally, as well as the club. Its massive. We beat them at our place last year then we had them in the final few games of last season. They were kind of concentrating on the Europa League final and we were more or less packing for our holidays. We went there with not as much aggression as we normally would have and I came away feeling a bit disappointed. Premier League Vault | Liverpool 0-1 Watford 1999 Its massive playing in front of the Kop. Liverpools one of the few grounds - Newcastle, Villa, too - where Ive got a proper buzz. Its a completely different Liverpool team - theyre running everywhere, scoring goals - so its going to be a massive test but were coming into it on decent form ourselves and we know we can have a right good go because then its the international break. But you play at 100 per cent every week dont you?I try my best! Im not as blessed technically as some of the other guys but what I am good at is roughing people up and making it tough for people. Its about the team winning but if I can score at Liverpool, itd be quite fitting that you scored your first Premier League goal there and Im scoring my 100th. That Liverpool goal, was it your greatest goalscoring achievement? Current Hornets skipper Deeney is one goal away from his century for the club It was really special. Because it was our first win, thats great for the team, but as a Liverpool supporter as a kid, to get a goal and have a day like we did... You had the highs of that game but the season didnt pan out how you would have wanted personally, and Watford came straight back down. Do you look back and think, What if?You do at the time. I had a great week, scoring against Liverpool and Bradford, but then a few weeks later against Chelsea I injured my knee in a tackle with Marcel Desailly. I wasnt happy about it and Im still not! I missed seven-and-a-half months. It was difficult not being able to influence the dressing room and by the time I was fit, we were relegated. It was a difficult season but I played in the Premier League, scored, achieved what we did to get there. Theres a lot of pressure on the No 9, isnt there? Liverpool vs Watford November 6, 2016, 1:30pm Live on Get Sky Sports Get a Sky Sports pass There is but its good fun. I obviously speak to you quite often and others who used to be in the game say, Enjoy it while you can. Its never been about financial reward, of course it helps, but youve always got the thought it could end tomorrow.I remember getting a call from Richard Money at Walsall asking if Id like to come and play for a season. Im 36, its near home, he said he had a young lad he thought I could help - very raw but works hard. What do you remember about that?I remember you were at Wycombe the year before and he made me do a report on you - great movement, gets to the back post, doesnt look the quickest! I was young and a bit naive then. Im still learning now but when you met me I was playing football on the estate with my mates.  Mooney scored 65 goals in 288 appearances for Watford You werent really like a normal 19-year-old; Id seen a lot doing the big I am but you were like a sponge and you were respectful.Im a student, essentially. The games moved on a bit - the kids are getting a lot more money - but the grounding I got made me focused and appreciate what Id got. I might not have wanted to carry on if it wasnt for all those lifts, though! Its your hard work thats got you through. It pains me to say it but youre probably more popular than I was as the Watford No 9! How do you assess the season so far? Watford 1-0 Hull Were doing alright. Weve been told about the second-season syndrome. Hopefully we can finish higher than last season but its a case of getting to 40 points as quickly as possible. The new manager is a bit old-school; he likes people getting kicked in training! He likes the intensity. I love him. He keeps it really professional and if the standards drop, like they did against Burnley, he picks it right up. Its a different style of training but I think the boys have adjusted now.As a former centre-forward Im not going to ask what your goal target is because that used to annoy me, but the way the team are playing, are you still confident there are goals there for you? Football Score Centre Sky Sports customers can watch Premier League goals and highlights every weekend at no extra cost. Yes. I think the one thing weve got this season is goals all over; last season it was just me and Iggy (Odion Ighalo). Etienne Capoue, Roberto Pereyra are scoring, Daryl Janmaat doesnt get as much credit as he deserves and has a few goals in him. This year Ive got my eye on the goal record.I dont think Im going to be in the position to have loads of trophies in my career but Id like to be able to say I was the third, second-highest goalscorer for Watford. I might have a tough time catching Luther Blissetts 186, though!I havent scored at Anfield. Like Old Trafford or the old Wembley, its got that prestige. My nan is a Liverpool fan, so I hope I can do it there and write my name into history but also do it on a massive stage against a team thats flying. Deeney spent four years at Walsall with Mooney also at the club in the 2007/08 season Ignore the tax drivers! Enjoy the atmosphere and the anthem. Its spine-tingling but when the whistle goes its down to work. Whats the secrets to winning at Anfield? Im not sure there is one. From our point of view, you cant fear them. Theyve got some brilliant footballers so you have to have a bit of respect but on the day youre just 11 footballers versus 11 footballers. I know if Im a handful its going to take more than one of them to stop me.Watch Tommy Mooneys chat with Troy Deeney in the build-up to Liverpool v Watford - 2.15pm kick-off - live on Sky Sports 1 HD from 1.30pm on Super Sunday.
