After high school, not every student has the motivation to enroll into a college. This is the time of life, when students are highly confused about what they want to do in their lives. Without motivation, students should not enter the college life; otherwise they will end up making the wrong choices.
I ended up choosing a wrong course when I took admission into a reputed college. Later, I realized that I had to always pay someone to write my paper because I was not interested in the subjects that I was studying. After a year, I changed my program and then things started to become better for me. I think if you are unsure about what you want to study in college, or what you want to do with your life, you should take a break. This break can be a yearlong if it has to, but by the end of it, you should have a clear idea about what you want to do.
So many students make the wrong subject choices in college, but then they remain stuck to these choices because they cannot gather the enthusiasm to change their course. Most of the students would not change their course after they are already 6 months to a year in. So, if you do not want to make such a costly mistake, find what motivates you and try to head in that direction.
